![]() Here's the full story of MathType versions and compatibility. Truth is, I was a bit swamped and haven't checked the forum since the 3rd. Thanks to VikingOSX and powermta for beating me to the answer. I have no other input, where it may involve actions from the vendor, or Apple. Beyond the first sentence, and my previous post, the procedure for the most recent MathType (directly from the vendor's site) working with Pages v5 or later is based on correct product installation, and application start order. MathType has been reviewing posts in the Pages community that pertain to MathType, and may respond to this post with additional insight. The Design Science website content only discusses MathType working through version 5.5. This order apparently wasn't necessary for Pages '09, but according to Design Science, it is necessary for Pages v5, Numbers v3, and Keynote v6 - and later versions. You must quit Pages 1) before installing MathType, and 2) restart Pages again, after you have started MathType.
